Autocar !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! the Peugeot RCZ R on UK roads. As you can imagine, they're pretty impressed, but the best part is the pictures. The latest fast Peugeot is available in black, white, red, but it's in silver that it looks the best. This is pretty beyond words.

I'm going to go against the collective Oppo love-in for this car. It looks like it's the wrong way round to me, perhaps I'm anchored in antiquated aesthetic considerations, but to my eyes, sports cars need long fronts and short rears.

Completely agree...looks like it would be sexy if it hauled ass in reverse. I know FWD can be 'fun', just not to me, sowwy.

Looks like an Audi TT and a newer Mitsubishi Eclipse had a baby....

Why is it everyone compares this car to the Eclipse ? I really don't see the similarities.

You must not be a big fan of mid-engined cars, then.

I like mid-engined cars very much, but this is a front-engined FWD car and it just looks a bit odd to my eyes.

It's pretty unmistakable for me. I've never seen this car until this post, and that's exactly what came to my mind first.

I actually like the styling of the newer Eclipse, so more power to them! And I think this is definitely a much more sporty and edgy take on that rough design idea.

I too am more than a little smitten by the RCZ R. As it's a mite out of my price range, I've been eyeing up a relatively recent ancestor... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/adv…

It does look odd, I agree. But to me it's the very good kind of odd.

I guess the rooflines are a bit similar. I like the Eclipse too, at first glance it looks unimaginative, but take a second look and it's very special.

Still the Peugeot better, though. But the Mitsubishi's butt is particularly great, it's got a bit of an Artega GT vibe going on :

I want one of these as well. A dark grey one, with the 2.2L, the tan leather interior and the metal fascia. Or a light blue one.

Agreed. And Peugeot really took that idea and made it into something much more radical and gorgeous to look at.

Too bad we'll never see it over in the US....

I'm still torn on the colour I'd go for.

I do think the light blue looks very, very nice, but my current car is painted pretty much the exact same shade, and I want a change. Perhaps the navy blue...

Kinja'd!!!

But then, the dark grey...

Kinja'd!!!

And, oh, the bright red...

Kinja'd!!!

It's so difficult!

HA! If we're going for importing, there'd be a lot of other things I'd get first. Even some older Peugeots maybe...

Seen these in the metal — reminded me of an TT with a longer bum.

It looks like a strange mix of TT, Eclipse, and Cougar to me. Not really sure I like it. It seems to have borrowed from the more girly early TTs than the new meaner looking TTs.

Don't forget the silver...

And the dark green...

The yellow is a bit of a let-down, however, in pictures it looks like this :

The original TT isn't girly.

Nice looking car, but I can't say I would prefer the silver over the other options, I'll have to look them up.

Stop liking what I don't like!
